In today’s article I would like to tell you about an awesome feature of our app that you were probably not aware about, it’s the possibility to restore draft emails.
Once you start creating an email, whether you type a single letter or the recipient’s email address, both Gmail and Outlook create an email draft so that you wouldn’t lose your data. Wild typing an email you may be thrown away by other tasks. But when you get back to your mailbox you will still find this draft there.
The point is that neither Gmail, nor Outlook has a specific trash bin to send the drafts to. Once you discard a draft email, you will lose it forever with no chance of recovery. However, Upsafe allows you to back up and restore the drafts just fine.
Check the guide below to learn how you can do this.
How to restore a deleted draft email with Upsafe
- Log into Upsafe services using your Gmail or Office 365 account..
- Open the Mail tab.
- Click the “Backup” button. The backup will start automatically.
- Once it is finished you will be able to restore your drafts. Select the “[Gmail]/Drafts” option in the drop-down menu on the left. Then select “Restore selected folder”.
- Once the restore process is finished, the draft emails will appear in your mailbox.
Please, note that with Upsafe Google account and Outlook backup (for end-users) you can only back up 5 Gb for free. If you need to back up more, you can switch to the premium account that has no data limitation. You can do it at the dashboard.
