If an Office 365 user forgot his password he can always ask his admin for help. But what should the admin himself do in case he forgot the magic word?
Do not worry, there are some ways around.
First of all, if you are not the only one Office365 administrator in the company you can ask another admin to reset your password.
If you are all alone you can do it yourself if you have provided an alternative email and phone number. The mobile phone will work if it can receive text messages (quite a strange criterium, show me the mobile phone that can’t). Also the mobile number will work only if your company has a custom domain name that you used for Office365.

Office365 admin password requirements
The password should be at least 8 characters long and should contain at least 3 of the following:
- Uppercase letters
- Lowercase letters
- Symbols
- Numbers
